Our Story and Clubs

Welcome!

We are excited to present our 10th Annual ACC vs SEC vs B1G Alumni Golf Tournament benefitting CASA Nashville.

In 2007, we reached out to every local alumni club chapter of the conferences’ schools and formed the Nashville ACC-SEC Leadership Council. After a lot of hard work and cooperation, the combined leadership of local Middle Tennessee clubs decided to stage an annual charity golf tournament. Rival schools put aside their traditional differences and worked together to give something back to our community. Last year, we added the Big 10 Conference to our group. What a great addition as we made new friends and sold out our event. There is still, of course, the occasional good-natured ribbing between rivals, but everyone puts it all aside to support our community’s children.

On Friday, August 4, 2016 at Gaylord Springs Golf Links, we will host our 11th tournament. Through the generous support of our clubs, players and sponsors, we have raised over $275,000 for a great cause – CASA Nashville.

CASA Nashville is a local 501c3 nonprofit providing an invaluable service to our community. The CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocate, program trains volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children who have, through no fault of their own, come to the attention of the juvenile court system. CASA’s advocates help the court system understand each child’s situation and provide a recommendation that gives the child the best chance for a safe, permanent home. Sadly, too many children will need CASA’s service this year.

We hope you will join us in supporting this vital charity and experience one of the best golf events you will ever play in. But, you don’t have to be a golfer to get involved or join in the fun. Anyone can come out for our 19th Hole and Dinner Party.

Grab your spot today! Come out, show your school spirit and have a great time – all for a great cause, CASA.

We hope to see you on the course August 4th!
